Bridlemiles' start to the 2016-17 school year
This year Bridlemile has wasted no time getting students
involved in science and art. Their
teachers have been bringing their A game by doing projects that the students
not only find interesting but are learning from.
Their first major project was a volcano. This pictured volcano took several forms over
the course of a week. From a large
purple mountain to a peaceful mountain scene.
They made the volcano so it could withstand a chemical reaction and not
fall apart. However, a much larger
explosion was hoped for, but instead got slow moving lava, but science was
learned either way.
Next was a paper tree project that had students creating
their own tree out of a brown lunch bag.
During this project they not only shaped their tree and added leaves but
they also learned about how and why leaves fall in autumn.
With more great activities planned, we cannot wait to see
what they will work on next. If you
have any great projects or ideas let us know in the comments below. We love to incorporate new projects in to our
programs.
