VHFLC Summer Camp Photo Diary IV

Welcome back to VHFLC's Summer Camp Photo Diaries! With just one more week left of camp for sites Creston and Capitol Hill, and two more weeks for St. Cecilia and Challenge Camp, we're getting ready to send the summer off right with all the summery trips and projects we can pack in before the school year's finally upon us!

Here are some snaps of our adventures to the zoo, the art museum, learning with loupes, fun times in the fountain, and other antics. We hope it makes you as happy as our little swashbucklers below!

It's hard to be scared of these Pirate Club cuties!

One of our favorite ways to beat the heat!

Challenge cools off their way with an informative trip to the Portland Art Museum

Creston campers pay a visit to the zoo!

Some of us take it as an opportunity to make some new friends.

"What's up, kid?"

(L-R) Mattea, Ruby, and Ashley seeing what it's like to be on the inside for a change!

Challenge Campers prep to build some epic paper airplanes.

...And Capitol Hill creatives have some other plans in mind.

Challenge spends the day sightseeing in downtown Portland!
And discover that downtown has "shoes for days"

Exploring the ephemeral with Papier-mache

And wrapping up in the relaxing reading corner.
We're in for an exciting last couple weeks! Coming up, we've got hikes, bowling, journal art, swimming trips, game store sessions, Oaks Park (for Challenge) and much more.
