Summer 2016 Recap

With the weather cooling and fall starting to set in, summer is drifting away.  Students are now back in school and our aftercare programs are in full swing.   The summer was tons of fun and here is a short recap to show all the amazing things that happened in those last few weeks.
Exploring the world around us!

Over at Kinder Camp in Lake Oswego they had an amazing time with different themed weeks and in-house guest presenters.  They had Bj the Clown and Matt the Musician in the last 2 weeks.  BJ put on a great show including the campers in many magic tricks, not even the staff had a clue how they were done.  Matt was great at keeping the beat going and had the campers singing along.  Being outside proved to be a great experience this summer with relatively good weather that was enjoyed by all.

Over at St. Cecilia they enjoyed some of that good weather as well on their park day.   From playing in the water table area to playing on the playground, they had a great day enjoying the sunshine.
Water tables allow for creative building and science.  Here they were building a volcano.

The Beaverton pool field trip was also amazing!   Having fun on a hot day, splashing around in a pool, meant everyone wore a smile.
Swimming always fun!

Splashing with our friends and making memories!

Lastly Challenge camp continued to explore around Portland.  From learning about fencing to hiking at the the Hoyt Arboretum, they expanded their knowledge as well as learning about the neighborhoods around Portland.

Meeting local news celebrities downtown!

Safety talk before the real adventure begins.

On guard!

There are miles and miles of forest trails in Portland!

We look forward to summer next year, and the upcoming new school year.
